Hecril

Description

When the power of lightning touches the earth, a seed is planted from its energy. One which will develop over the centuries into the form of Hecril, an ore spawned by the power of the storm. A vein of Hecril will never fashion in the same location twice, or atleast no being has lived long enough to observe this phenomenon. Hecril’s patterns of formation will lead to its discovery on mountain peaks, as well as ancient lightning strikes.

• Malleability: Average.
• Magnetic: Yes.
• Conductivity of Heat: High.
• Primary Uses: Lightning rods, projectiles, shields, armor.

Special

• A kilogram or more of Hecril will attract all lightning within a 6m radius to itself. This radius may grow through the use of arrays, patterns, and various inventions.
• When lightning strikes or is absorbed by this metal, it will deal blunt damage to the user one tier in severity less than what the lightning will usually provide. It also prevents the wielder from being stunned by electricity if fashioned into armor.
  • This applies to self-inflicted damage as well.
• Touching Hecril after a recent lightning strike will result in a static shock, which will induce first degree burns.
