The Veil itself is an enigma, a plane between planes and something which spans the multiverse as an all-encompassing, yet binding thing. While many speculate what the veil truly is, many assume it to be the "blood" of creation that was used to shield the fledgling existence that was to come about, who's mantle was later taken up by the Goddess of knowledge, Vikret. The Veil itself is a plane of intense magic that bridges the infinite realms in the beyond together. Glowing highways span and twist as far as the eyes can see, and many higher beings including the divine often travel these roads to get to their destinations which span from The Fey Wilds to Danaldaie. Yet outside of the roads foreign beings unique to the veil exist which are both kind and malevolent alike that tempt many a traveler off the beaten path..

==Leylines==

Leylines are the bridges between worlds. They differ from Veil tears as they are channels which were formed intentionally by Vikret to funnel magic to and from planes, and to keep eternal balance with her ever-expanding realm. The Leylines themselves are rather enigmatic and their greater purposes are unknown, though mages from nearly every realm have utilized their powers for generations. Their most common use is in rituals, greater practices in magic, and the lighting of one's Aurum. Veil tears are similar to Leylines, yet the difference is they can allow creatures of the Veil to cross through where it would normally be impossible.

Planes

The Veil itself is considered a plane between planes. Inside the Veil, a purple or blue void ensues, almost appearing like stars in the sky, though it is hard to make out what exactly is within this astral plane. Few have managed to be able to enter its turbulent environment and make it out intact. Thry'iseses, the Holy Realm of Vikret, is said to lay somewhere in the heart of the Veil. None have been able to actually reach the place, making it hard to believe of the integrity of this rumor. Rules within the Veil are not the same as they are within any plane, many of which are turbulent and ever-changing, and it is said that time passes ten times as fast within the veil compared to the mortal realms.
