The Giant's Highlands
The Giant's Highlands are a stretch of mountains that dominate the northeastern continent. They are treacherous and inhospitable to pass through. Narrow cliffside trails, constant rockslides and avalanches dot the routes, and those are just the natural threats. Its most prominent feature is the sky high mountains that peak through the clouds, leading to many rumors of this land being the home of the giants, or even the gods; hence its name. Many mystics claim that the mountains themselves are the giants, but few believe the improbability. Many offer tribute before passing the range, and while many come out through the other side, the Highlands is not shy to claim victims.
However, there is one that none dare to climb, it is said to be the highest peak of the Giant's Highlands, nicknamed simply as 'Sky's Peak' by the locals. Nobody quite knows what is on top of the mountain, as it is constantly shrouded by clouds. Rumors spread far and wide, ranging from dragons or ancient relics, to simply.. nothing.
