Farcanith, sometimes referred to by the commonfolk by "Hell" or sometimes other names, is none of these things quite in particular and is a place of ambiguity without proper rules. The plane of Farcanith closely coincides with the mortal realm, being its own space but holding close, yet concealed ties to it. The land varies based on the domain of the demon presiding inside of it, and the land itself seems to be as turbulent as those who preside within it. Great fields of ice, magma, stone, darkness and light occupy these domains, though there easily could be an infinite number of them. Demons hold many forms and their abilities and powers vary in both strength and number. Inside the realm, the Demons have control of underlings which are termed as Fiends, souls which have been bargained for by the creatures also exist in their ruler's demesne. Demon realms do not necessarily border within Farcanith, often leaving vass amounts of space between and a sort of lonely nothingness similar to a no mans land. What is certain is these lands are all deemed as heretical by the divine, those within being of an unholy nature. Though unholy, not all demons are particularly wicked; it is a good generalization however that all demons shall be selfish and self-reliant, seeking only to complete their own goals.

The Seven Evils

Standing above the rest are the prime evils of Farcanith. Demons act as the 'lords' of Farcanith, but the Seven Evils can be considered their kings in that regard. Each one is unique to their sin, and they are easily recognized based on which one is which. But do not mistake these Kings for eternal beings. While extremely powerful each in their own regards, the demons below them are scarcely loyal, and constantly plot and vie to be one of the seven evils. They are the equivalent of gods in the realm of Farcanith, and are treated as such by many who are down there. Should a Seven Evil be slain, the demon who did so will often eat the entire body and the soul of the creature to prevent them from coming back at their same power, thus taking their place at the top and assuming the mantle.

Demons

One thing to note firstly of any Demon is that they are nigh impossible to truly kill. When slain, their essence is cast back into Farcanith where they can spend variable amounts of time in a sort of limbo, waiting for them to gain full strength to manifest themselves inside the realm. While in Farcanith however, they may whisper into the ears of mortals or even make indirect showings of their powers. In general, these Demons are not nearly as strong as the divines, but due to their more close interaction with the realm they can often be worshiped similar to demi-servants. Demons take no power directly from the worship of their followers, but from the influence which they begin to have over the realm itself. Demons make not only fiends, fragments of their power which go to inhabit pockets of the realm to exert their will, but they oft whisper to mortals to convince them to do their bidding and for some to form Cabals. Their powers vary immensely, but each is unique in that they form their own realms which adhere each to their own special rules. Demons can spend a great deal of time squabbling among themselves, which often hinders their goals and ambitions.

Fiends

Fiends, as aforementioned are smaller fragments of a Demon's power. The stronger the demon is, the more fiends they are likely to have. These fiends represent the most basic tenants of the demon's will, power, and appearance. Often appearing similar in coloration and shape to their lords, they are what is most commonly interacted with by mortals. Usually, these creatures are powerful, sentient beings whose will is directly bound to that of their Demon like that of a hivemind. Like the Demons, they are considered entirely unholy by the Divine, and thus marked for death by the holy under most circumstances.
