Thairr’s origin ties in with Orono’s, as they were born at roughly the same time. When Orono blasted the gust that was felt around the globe, Thairr awoke, the planet shifting and churning as he did. He couldn’t do what the other Vaya could, and that was move, or follow along the others, or enjoy himself. He was literally stuck to a life of solitude for eons upon eons, hence why most know him to be judgmental, brooding, and stalwart. Even with the coming of Vuona and life, Thairr stood solemnly and quietly, watching everything progress, never interacting. It wasn’t until sentient life rolled around when he saw his purpose. He couldn’t come to the shaman like the others could, but he was practically everywhere at once. He could judge, and see if they were truly worthy, if they had really passed the trials. Given his isolation and attitude, this came natural to him, and he became the scales that balanced, that weighed out the Shaman’s mistakes and victories, their failures and successes.
Thairr's Doctrine
- Be stalwart in the face of every threat, both within and without.
- Judge and guide those that would try and commit to the trials.
Plane of Origin
Xochor
When one thinks of stone, they often envision an unchanging mass, a structure impervious to the flow of time, and they would not be far off when it comes to Xochor. This realm is naught but sprawling mountains and fields of cracked rock, changing only through eons of stone grinding against one another. Within this realm no life lays but the hardiest of minerals and spirits, whom roam the never changing land and inhabit the many faces of the mountains that have formed.
