Meteoric Iron
From Aethier
Meteoric Iron is a metal said to be descended from the heavens themselves. Because of this, people hint that Meteoric Iron might hold divine influence. This is with good reason as not only is the metal exceedingly rare, but when a priest facilitates such a relic being put within water, it can create a substantial amount of holy water. The metal is also prone to not receiving unnatural wear unlike other metals of its caliber.
Color
Iron.
Rarity
Legendary.
Traits
- Malleability: Low.
- Magnetic: Yes.
- Conductivity of Heat: Average.
- Primary Uses: Weapons.
Special
- Meteoric Iron glows when the profane are within fifteen meters, though does not distinguish what is or what is not. This only applies to demonbrands when they are casting, and does not passively detect them.
- Meteoric Iron is one the only known substances which can break the phylacteries of liches.
- Meteoric Iron when striking an undead, prevents them from being raised through profane means or into an undead again should they be slain on their next revival. This means they would likely need a divine or ascended revival. (Note: they can be turned if they are killed once again after this revival unless they were killed once again with Meteoric Iron.)
- Meteoric Iron can, once per (ooc) week, turn a 100 ML container of water into holy water.
