The Fogwall

The Island of Fog is an island in the center of a lake in the top left landmass. The island itself is... well, unknown in terms of most things. Its geography, its wildlife, anything. It is a complete and total mystery, as it is surrounded in an unbreaking fog. Many have headed inside the fog, but there is only one known person who has ever returned from the fog, and they had died centuries before the arrival of the old ones. Their stories and writings were dismissed as mad ravings, as they described open, empty, impossibly large rooms occupied with almost 'crystalline' roads tying certain places together. They described places that seemed so advanced, the Gods themselves couldn't fathom taking them on. He was later burned alive for his spreading of heretical talk, yet none have dared go in themselves since; believing it to be a true and utter death sentence.
